    Today
Carolyn and I woke up at eleven this morning, which means that I missed Car Talk and Jane and the Dragon, but luckily I had a few Entourage episodes left, so I watched 'em, and I watched 'em well.

Later we drove to Carolyn's parents' house to drop off a birthday present for her younger sister (a Theobromine t-shirt). I was treated to a tasty bowl of chili, and in return, helped carry some books to my mother-in-law's car.

Although we had intended on going somewhere for pancakes, it was nearly 2 o'clock by the time we left her parents' house, so we opted for lunch instead. Chuy's (to which neither of us has been) had a 30-minute wait, so we drove down to Threadgill's (also a place to which neither of us have been)for a chicken fried steak and a piece of strawberry-rhubarb pie. I'm not sure Gordon Ramsay would have approved, but it was good enough for me (yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah).

Unbeknownst to us, we each had a long nap ahead of us. We eventually woke up (twice in one day), and decided to go see "Dan in Real Life." It was easy to follow, had a good soundtrack, and taught us that love is not a feeling, it's an ability.

And then I spilled a bottle of Fat Tire on the carpet. Crap.

    Dear Prudence
    Dear Prudence,

Just wanted to let you know that I totally forgot what I was going to write...Seriously, within the last fourteen seconds, poof...gone. Oh wait. Wait a minute. Okay. Back on...DANG. It's gone. So. Um. Sheesh. Oh. YES! OH YES! The 10th Doctor (Who) looks like a smarmy little bastard, doesn't he?

    Love,

    Your ficticious friend,

    Jason

Wait a minute! I'M not ficticious! YOU are!

    Double duty
I just found out that two CDs can fit comfortably into my CD-ROM drive. It took me awhile to figure out why my Mika CD wasn't playing (although now I'm a little bit sorry that it is), it was on top of Age of Mythology.

    Buster Order Hymenoptra
I'm quickly discovering that Texas is home to more freaky bugs than I can shake a stick at. I can't imagine what they're like in, say, South America. Bleh.

Recently, I just about filled my pants when I noticed one of these behemoths flying in my general direction (conversely, it was probably equally terrified when I whacked it with my shoe). Turns out it is (rather, was) a male Cicada Killer (S. speciosus), which, unless handled roughly, will not attack humans.

    God bless the internet.

    French Fries suck ass
I have been generally disappointed with fast food french fries, not just recently, but for a long, long time. They used to be magical...like ice cream and unicorns, but not so much anymore; at least not for this burger lovin', Diet Coke guzzlin' mother f@#ker.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em (or don't)
It's been 43 seconds since my last cigarette. 'Nuff said.

Please pray for baby...oh, what's her name. Oh, I don't know. Ophelia? Jessica? Cassie? Jesus (no, not Jesus). I JUST watched about two hours of the most captivating news about some pregnant lady who went missing in Ohio or whatever. Boy. If it wasn't for the Playstation, my TV would be a sledgehammer holder.

Reminds me of a funny shirt I remember my aunt wearing when I was 12. It said "I suffer from CRS. Can't Remember Shit."

Whoa. What is happening to me? BTW. Two years ago today, I, uh, well FANCY THAT...Here's the entry. I kid you not: "Sunday. Sunday. Hmm. Sunday. Yeah. Uh. I dunno."
